Our Ephrata office provides you with convenient access to high
quality legal services. Since our firm is a full service law firm,
we are able to serve all of our clients’ needs right here in
Ephrata. With hours between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday and evening hours until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and Thursday, we
are able to schedule appointments that are convenient for you.
Our initial consultation fee for new matters is $50.00. Personal

KURT A. GARDNER, ESQ. |

A life-long resident of Lancaster County, Mr. Gardner graduated cum
laude from The Dickinson School of Law in 1987, Franklin and
Marshall College in 1984 and Warwick High School in 1980. He has
since concentrated in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense,
Personal Injury and various types of civil litigation.Mr. Gardner has been actively involved in the community, including
the Lions Club, Teens Responding to Adult Care and Kindness, and the
Ephrata High School Mock Trial Team. He has chaired numerous parent
organizations at Warwick High School, and is a leader of several
groups at Salem United Methodist Church in Rothsville.
Mr. Gardner has received awards for excellence in providing legal
service to the underprivileged, and he frequently lectures on the
practice of law to local groups and organizations. He is a certified
member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates' Forum for his
handling of multi-million dollar wrongful death and personal injury
cases. Mr. Gardner has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell with the highest rating a lawyer can receive for legal ability and ethical standards.
Mr. Gardner resides in Brickerville with his wife, Heidi, and
their children, Lyndsay and Adam.

JOHN C. STEVENS, ESQ. |

Mr. Stevens graduated from The Dickinson School of Law in 1996 and
Franklin and Marshall College in 1993. While in Law School, Mr.
Stevens received The American Bankruptcy Law Journal Award and was
actively involved in Dickinson’s Family Law Clinic. His primary
areas of practice include Family Law, Business Law, Civil
Litigation, Personal Injury, Estate Administration and Planning and
various traffic and criminal defense matters.Mr. Stevens serves as a Director on the Ephrata Area Chamber of
Commerce Board of Directors and is on the Chamber’s Special Events
committee. Along with Mr. Gardner, Mr. Stevens served as the coach
to the Ephrata High School Mock Trial Team. Additionally, Mr.
Stevens has been involved with the Junior Achievement Program
and lectures on the practice of law to local groups and
organizations.
Mr. Stevens resides with his wife, Connie, and their two sons,
Andrew and Matthew.

DAWN E. KREITER |

Dawn is a Lititz area native and graduate of Warwick High School.
She began working as a legal secretary in 1986, and initially worked
with us until 1995, when she started a family. Dawn returned to us
in 2003 as both receptionist and legal secretary. She works in a
variety of legal and administrative areas, and is frequently able to
answer client questions concerning case status, billing and schedule
issues.

DENISE L. MARTIN |

A Lancaster County native and graduate of Cocalico High School,
Denise began her career with us as a legal secretary in 1987 and
received her Paralegal Certificate in 1991. She currently works as
our litigation, family law and estate paralegal. She interacts
extensively with clients in a number of areas, including family law,
personal injury and estate administration.

Tara has been a Lancaster County resident since 1976. She is a graduate of Cocalico High School. Tara joined Gardner and Stevens, P.C. as a legal secretary in 2007, she currently works in variety of legal areas.
